Dinner will arrive by 6 plus pm and therefore, have a heavy lunch before going to the event. Yeah, Muslims, this applies to you too.

As for breaking fast, we will not have to worry as our SECTOR will be over by then. (If you don't understand, don't worry. I did not get it either)

Thats all folks. Cya tomorrow in Keller at City Hall, 2.15pm. Bottom anything but revealing ones. We don't want the people running to be distracted.

Any other queries, please message me so I can rectify the issue with Ivan tonight

Welcome, I am your REP!

I would like to sincerely apologize for this sudden need to check the class blog. There are many announcements to be made and it cannot be simply typed on a text message.

First off, there are changes that are to be made in terms of our class allocation. This is due to the J2 preliminary examinations and I hope you take note of this places and go to the classes respectively.

4th September 2oo9 (Friday)

Ms Chew (Maths) From F4-27 to F2-26
Mr Ling (Maths) From G4-33 to G1-40
Ms Chua (GP) From F4-11 to F3-38

14th September 2009 (Monday after the 1 week break)

Ms Chua (Chinese B) From F1-47 to F2-47
Ms Chua (GP) From F1-47 to F2-47

22th September 2009 (Tuesday)

Mdm Soh (Chinese Language H1) From J2-78 to G3-33

25th September 2009 (Friday)

Ms Chua (GP) From F4-11 to F3-38
Ms Chew (Maths) From F4-27 to F2-66

Please exercise self-initiative and not depend on others for the venues, which I highly doubt will take place.

Secondly,

Our treasurer Audrey Wong is short of funds, as usual and has requested $2 to be given to her soon. Please give her immediately as there are serious claimings to be made.

Thirdly,

For those who have yet to submit the Taming Of The Shrew essay, please do so soon. (Joseph, yours is already in Ms Zal's pigeon hole)

Lastly,

This Sunday is our CIP. Please pay heed to the relay message sent out to you. Should you be unable to attend, please tell MELANIE by tomorrow. It seems like there are quite a number who only informed her recently.

We would like to stress the importance of this matter. We have to reallocate places in the groupings for those who are unable to make it to maximise our slots. Therefore, I seek your understanding and cooperation in this.

SO SORRY! BEFORE I FORGET, THERE IS ECONOMICS MAKE-UP LESSON TOMORROW
THE PLAN IS AS BELOW

Tomorrow's make up lesson for the class is from 2.30pm to 3.30pm @ J2-78
There are 6 people who are unable to meet this time (This was made way way earlier in the week), your make-up time would be at 4pm to 5pm @ J2-79.

However, seeing that those people who can't make are down with aadiperuku, I will talk to Mr Por about this.

As for the rest, there are no excuses for not being able to turn up! Bring your Sony Music case study for the tutorial

End of today's announcements.

Screw blogger's glitches.

Revived!

Since I am away from school, might as well do a good deed by updating the class blog! (Btw, this is thanks to Nabilah for the request)

These announcements are contributed by Miu Yen, who has been emailing me homework and lesson plans since Friday.

So, these are the announcements

1) EOM Draft is due on Monday for Mdm Teo's students and the final submission is on the 6th August.

2) GPP is requested to be submitted, if I'm not wrong by Monday as well.

3) For those groups who have yet to submit your WR, please do so asap!

4) GP comprehension is due on Tuesday, so please please Ms Chua (word play here)

5) Group presentation on Monday, in which you all have prepared already

6) REGAN! Please remind the upcoming forum students. I suggest relaying to them now, like 6 people down the list since Ms Chua wants the reminder to be done two weeks in advance

7) For literature students, this is another reminder, please take note that every set of poems that Mdm Lai goes through will be accompanied with an essay question. As you all already know, the essay outline is to be presented and will be graded. I'm not so sure about Friday's lesson but this is what's going on from now on. I would like to stress the importance of the presentation as it not only makes up of your marks but it helps us in planning out the essay, since it has been identified that structure is still flawed for the majority of us.

8) As for maths, Mr Ling has "kindly" informed me that the students who failed maths MYE did not turn up for remediation. As the relay message relayed yesterday state, all these students are to attend NIGHT STUDY PROGRAMME on Monday. Mr Ling will have the remediation lesson at that time in the LIBRARY. Please turn up, as I'm been given the responsibility of making sure all of you turn up but can't seem to do it since I won't be around. Thank you for your cooperation

9) This announcement goes out to our dear treasurer, please bring what we promised to bring, technically you have it now.

10) Remember operation GRAIN people. Check my facebook to find out what the hell it means. This will smoothen our ACM's job

This is all I can remember for now. Will update soon.

(Apparently, there is something wrong with blogger's Posting section, so I cannot give you the proper structured quotes) Good day!

Another Update

To all Pioneers,

I need your email addresses now! Either email me your emails at acikebok@hotmail.com or message me! This is so I can email you the travel declaration forms.

Take note however, that this is only meant for those students that travel to the listed countries!

Please email me asap!

And may I remind everyone to regularly check the class blog as updates are always put up as soon as Mdm Lai updates me.

And for those that did not travel to these countries, the travel declaration forms are snail mailed to you! You are required to bring this to school when it reopens this coming Monday.

Thank you!

Urgent Announcement

Ok, it is undeniable that this blog is left dormant since when, forever?

But this is an urgent update.

As you all may know, school is opening next Monday, despite the idea of extending the holidays.

These are the announcements:

1) Students will receive an information sheet and a fresh travel declaration form via mail. (A copy of the travel declaration form is attached.) Students must inform their parents about the information sheet on H1N1 updates.

2) Please check with your class members if they have travelled to any listed affected countries (as of 23 June) - Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United Sates of America, Indonesia, Hong Kong

and have returned to Singapore on or after 22 June.

With this into consideration, all students in 09a04 are required to call Mdm Lai asap, if possible, today, to tell declare of your travels.

3) If 'Yes' to point 2, please fill up the details required as indicated in the attached template. The student/s must fill in the travel declaration form and return the form to the college by 29 June, Monday. The form is available on the school portal.

Please note that the students in the above category will have to either mail the travel declaration form to the college (attention to CT) , fax to college (attention to CT) or email the scanned copy of the form to the CT. As they will be on Leave of Absence (LOA), they are required to be home quarantined and should not appear in college.

4) If 'No' to point 2, the students must fill in the travel declaration form and return the form to the college by 29, June, Monday.

5) Students must update their email address in the college learning portal by 25 June, Friday.

So far only these people have called Mdm Lai:
Hanif
Justin
Subar
Miu Yen
Xin Yee
Beatrice
Atiqa
Nabilah

Aisha

Thanks.

Mdm Lai

Class Blog

THIS IS IMPORTANT.

As this blog is not being updated and no one is issuing any complaints or causing any uproar, we are going to take a poll on whether this class blog is going to continue to be used or not - rather defeats the purpose if no one will visit the blog right?

Those who have any comments feel free to speak your mind..
At least leave a message behind if you visit the website, so we can keep a reccord of who is visiting the site.

The result will be posted by the end of this week.

THIS IS IMPORTANT.
